The Socialist Party has been busy. Our locals are active participants in
movements for social justice and economic democracy. Below you will find a
listing of upcoming actions and campaigns. If you have been inactive, get
in touch with your local group and get involved. There's lots going on and
lots that needs to be done. (remember to check www.sp-usa.org for
updates!)

Activism, Activism and more activism?
Immigrant Rights/ Fair Food Campaign:
The Socialist Party will be in the streets supporting the rights of
immigrant workers this weekend. The following actions will be endorsed by
Party locals as part of the Fair Food/Immigrant Rights Campaign:
Sept. 30th
Bergenfield, NJ: Solidarity vigil with Immigrant workers. 8 -10 am corner of

Reproductive Rights
On October 3rd, the Party will also be active in events honoring the life
of Rosie
Jimenez and calling for the repeal of the Hyde Amendment.

Other actions: Join the SP of North Jersey at a forum on the right of those
incarcerated to vote: Tuesday Oct. 3rd at the Unitarian Society of
Ridgewood and at the weekly Wednesday anti-war vigils at the Teaneck NJ
