Comrades,

The 2008 election season is rapidly approaching.  While our presidential ticket of Brian Moore and Stewart Alexander was nominated at our National Convention last fall and has since had great success campaigning, we need more socialists to step up as candidates for other local, state and federal offices.

The 2008 elections will center around critical issues -- health care, the economy, the wars at home and abroad, and more -- where we can effectively advocate socialist solutions that will improve lives both immediately and in the long term.  We need as many socialist candidates on the ballot as possible to provide voters with a better choice -- a socialist alternative.

Are you thinking of running for office?  Definitely running?  Somewhere in between?
